Outfit: Brunch at Dempsey Hill

This dress is definitely something that's not my usual style, but I saw this piece in Zara the other day that fit me like glove and I just had to get it. One key reason why I don't enjoy online shopping that much is because when it comes to buying clothes, the fit and cutting clothes on me and my body type takes precedence over price. This is with consideration that I don't enjoy having too much pieces of clothes in my wardrobe. Albeit being a loud and heavy piece in my opinion, I think this dress design stands the test of time.

In terms of colour complementary accessories, I didn't have much - I'm not a fan of red and have always a very muted neutral tone kind of person. Thus, I decided to pair this dress with the only red thing I had - my backpack (can't believe I have this for 5 years already and this bag have travelled with me to more than 20 countries..) turned out pretty decent :)

Outfit: PJ Style

Gosh, I haven't done an outfit post in the longest time. I've been up and about wearing a dress and with a camera, thus I thought I could post something again. I know this is such an old school occurrence, but I still like keeping a log of what I wore haha. I guess, over the years, you find a liking in certain style and pieces that would somehow suit closer to your personality - after all, you only buy and wear what you like? For me, I enjoy wearing clothes and accessories that are simple, easy to repeat (famously called the outfit repeater during uni and at work), comfortable and would hopefully never go out of style. It's partly because I'm someone who doesn't like having too many things at home and that I don't particularly enjoy shopping that much.

My ex-colleagues like to call this my "PJ" style because it's so flow-y and plain and comfortable that you can wear to bed, lol but hey I think it's pretty decent :)

Outfit: Sunday's Wedding Lunch

Outfit: Dress - Second Nature, Bag - Michael Kors, Necklace - Louisa, Sandals - Charles & Keith, Watch - Fitbit

When you're at your 20s, when everyone is finally fresh out of school, getting that job that earns you the money to start a future with your partner, you are bound to be attending one or two, or many, weddings.

I attended a wedding lunch at Equinox last week and this is what I wore. It being a wedding lunch, I chose a more casual but also presentable outfit. Being someone who loves comfort in what I'm wearing whilst making a practical choice when it comes to clothes, I wore a long dress from the Second Nature and what's so special about this dress is that it comes with pockets - super important detail when it comes to female clothings. I also paired it with a pair of brown sandals from Charles and Keith to make it a little bit more causal on a Sunday afternoon. To keep the tones complemented, I carried go to bag from Michael Kors in which I always wear when I wear white tones only. I think overall this look gives a very classic flow-y vibe, showing someone feels comfortable in what she wears.

I had a really good time there, catching up with friends I have not met for a considerably long time and it was so nice to see someone announcing and expressing his and her love to one another in matrimony, tears were shed :')

Outfit: Grey Matter

Outfit: Dress - Editors Market, Accessories - Louisa, Watch - fitbit

First of all, I deeply apologies to those who have been visiting my blog for request on lecture notes, Blogger had recently had a new policy that blocked me from receiving emails of new comments coming in and I do not religiously check my blog for comments. Nevertheless, I am still alive and I have been replying those who have directly sent me a mail. I will definitely get back to those who have given their comments, sorry if it is too late it's almost halfway through the semester already*cries.

As about myself, life for me has dramatically changed over the course of these few week, months. I have officially found a full time job, have a frantic fast paced life and presently a direction I can look forward to. Honestly, compared to the life I had deliriously finding that full time job, I feel a lot more at ease being extremely busy as compared to not knowing where to go.

I know there are so many of my counterparts who are currently finding hard to find that perfect job. I totally feel your sentiments, I was there, thought that I had it all, yet found myself unwanted for 6-months. But having seen my friends getting what they wanted and for me to be in a job that I don't dread going to work (okay I do sometimes, but not all the time which is nice.) makes me feel it may be worth the pain because in relatively, you tend to treasure things a little better with these struggles you encounter. Maybe I should write on it someday.

Having been start working, I am still that essential outfit repeater that I am since school time, working to wear things that make me feel comfortable and at ease with my appearances. Recently, I have been finding myself drawing to longer and more elegant looking dresses that shows a somewhat timeless and sustainable look that are suitable to be worn in the corporate world. Neutral hues are my go-to colours, because they are so easy to match, especially in this grey I am in for this outfit. They look prettier in pictures too, or maybe it's because my tastes and preferences have changed as I get older.

Nevertheless, I think I will be updating this space more often as my escapism from the corporate world.

Outfit: Kalbarri

Travelling 10 days on a non-stop 25000km road trip from Perth to Cervantes to Geraldton, back to Perth, to Mandurah to Bunburry to Brusselton to Margaret River is as tiring as it sounds.  It was an extremely eventful with a satisfactory mixture of highs and lows, meeting disappointments and accidental happiness along the way. Ultimately it was amazing. However, getting the right OOTD look and better yet, packing for the right look can be such a pain. The expectations of the continual twist of unexpected events and tight schedules drains your energy and the thought of just dressing comfortable feels like the best ideal status quo.

I myself am a really extremely lazy when it comes to dressing up - wearing t-shirts and slippers to school every other day and most of my friends can testify to that. But having a good photo can pay off so much when you look back at them and thinking "hey I used to look that good" I brought so many outfits with the elaborate attempt to take many nice outfit posts but at the end of the day, I was left with this one, an outfit Jon picked out for me whilst attempting to drag me out of my everyday outfit status quo. What I would suggest when thinking of what to wear overseas is that always always pick a relatively comfortable outfit which complement the colours of the attractions you're planning to visit. Having that two components covered would dwindle your "I have nothing to wear" thought to that ideal outfit you'll be wearing most of the time, that is if you're a lazy traveller as I am.

The slippers were unintended. Current distance: 1000km

Outfit: Barbour

Not exactly sure what to title to make of this entry so thus the brand of the coat would suffice! I've been wearing the same outfit for almost every other day during my 2 weeks trip in London/Nottingham due to the limited amount of space a hand carry luggage could take. But what really makes a difference to an outfit is a coat. I mean, it applies in the opposite too, having the same coat too covers the differences of clothing worn (within it). Anyway this coat belongs to my brother (thus explains the size of the coat) and I was just borrowing it during my stay in Nottingham because it was slightly colder over at Nottingham compared to London.

Outfit: This Coat

After a considerable long hiatus from my series of outfit posts and after putting on a hefty amount of kilograms of weight, I've finally decided to upload an entry. I really love this 5SGD coat I got from a flea market earlier at the end of summer. It's a flea market that's held every Saturday which is located close by my home (Arkivgatan 7) in Lund. this coat was probably my best affordable buy in my entire exchange. It's been with me through many travelling encounters in various countries and I even lost a button whilst rushing for a budget flight to Brussels. Heh. It's a pity I would probably not wear it in Singapore but it's been a good run with my lovely thrifted coat :)

Outfit: Flea Market

A few of us Singaporeans went to the flea market that day and I was fortunate enough to stay right across the street from it. Comparable to the flea market in Scape in Singapore, it happens every Saturday and sells lots of second hand items. But one thing that was so wonderful about the flea market here is that items are sold really cheaply?! I got my 2 winterwear at around SGD 35 and many of my friends had gotten them cheaper. Plus, the clothes sold there are almost in mint condition so I think I'll definitely pay this place a visit again! Will probably write a post about the stuff I bought soon!

Anyway 'bout this outfit, I was going for the complementing maroon look that would work well in this coming autumn. It's starting to get really cold here with the rain happening more and more often so I'll probably have to layer on more and more clothes. Side note, I absolutely love the uniqlo jeans I got a while ago and I wish I got more for the trip :( It's so comfortable!

Outfit: Summer in Sweden

The Swedish weather has been pretty interesting, there are times where it's gets super cold and times where the sun just hit directly onto your skin. But I guess for most parts you get to wear layers of clothes which is really cool because you get to mix and match a variety without catching on to the heat. This was taken at an Animal Park in Sweden and there are definitely a differently variety of animals over here - really cute and fluffy ones.

Outfit: Hiatus

It's been awhile since I last posted and I have broken my statement of posting every week (as seen on my profile Lol). To be honest, I gave this up back then, partly because I was so busy in internship, but also because I felt it was so tedious and I wasn't really "good enough" to do it. I left many drafts unposted and I don't really wanna post them anymore cause' I feel like I look pretty stupid. hahaha. But alas  I'm back, feeling that I shouldn't be spamming facebook with my narcissistic pictures. Furthermore, I just managed to fiddle around with my camera and achieve pretty effects! Plus, I really can't live without sharing about my life (especially in pictures) to people. HAH, narcissistic statement again!

Alas, I'm back with more OOTD nonsense that would probably entertain you and me hahaha. Lately I've been really into jeans and I had just bought this pair of Superga and totally loving it! That's all :)
