Declutter: Creating Attitude, Action & Accountability

I must admit this week had been a little rough - a new role, new opportunities and to a large extent, unexpected changes in my lifestyle. It's exciting but as with all things new and unfamiliar, it can get intimidating. I've been trying to stay on the ball by redefining my habits to fit into my new "life".

I attempted to take this journey more structurally and along the way, I created a simple onion diagram on how I wanted to stay on track when things get more uncomfortable and unfamiliar.

  • Attitude: Personally, seeking my own self worth and reducing the need for external validation on things I do has helped me tremendously in constantly reframing my mindset better.
  • Action: Taking pride in the small wins has been helping me keep the momentum going.
  • Accountability: It’s easy to go off track sometimes when life throws you off course, I make it a point constantly remind myself on how far I’ve come through reflecting on a weekly basis - I do this by journalling once a week and use this blog to keep myself reminded of how far I've come

I guess this is how I've been doing so far, but it's nice to see how it can transformed to a more structure and easily understandable manner to stay on track and trust the process.
