A Year In

It’s 10.27am; I currently have some “free” time for a short break. I decided to pay a visit to this space that has remained dormant for a considerable time. Looking back at these entries, I miss the golden hours in the evenings where the sun rays shines straight down to the ground, without clouds hindering and the cold winds during winter time that you have to brave just to get to the nearby supermarket for food. There were so many unexpected situations that transcended from student exchange into this so-called “real life” - in their own good ways.

It’s a matter of perspective when it comes to looking back at the past and I choose to appreciate what I was privileged to have rather than feel sore about missed opportunities or harp on my own mistakes. As cliché as it sounds and it is, learning is truly a lifelong process. Yet, this “learning” in itself should not be an excuse for poor work and complacency but a constant opportunity to create the best version of oneself.

It’s a pity I didn’t take more photographs initially but I’m glad there are still remnants taken of the remaining days in my travels and in Lund.
