Decided to keep a sketchbook cum journal with my through the basis of my exchange and I feel like this is one of the best decisions I've made. Pity I haven't used my DSLR much, didn't realise the potential of it til' towards the end of exchange, and also sadly, it's a zoom lens so it's not very apprehensive to take a photographs and compile them into travelogue. Twas, A sketchbook does more than suffice during this trip.
It feels like a blessing to have acquainted the ability to draw over the years and it had served beyond its purpose of just penning down thoughts and for aesthetic pleasure. It encapsulates memories and moments than a photograph could. (I love taking photos to but I'm just stating the deeper understanding of sketching) It takes more than a split of a second to accomplish the a picture and the efforts and perceivable visions through the naked eye captures the essence of what an individual see, be it emotionally or physically. It's satisfying to look back at these pages, knowing the series of events and the shit that had happened at a particular place. #exchangelife

Through words:
Last few days before I'll be leaving Brunnsbo and was reflecting and looking back in the midst of packing up. I decided to look through a journal that I kept over the past few months to keep me preoccupied while travelling. It's pretty been pretty rewarding and worthwhile penning down thoughts and painting while trying to kill time and just being alone with my mind.
Rather than just travelling for pleasure, having kept a journal definitely enabled me in the organisation of my thoughts and the reflection on myself; creating self awareness and internalising things I've learned through various escapades.
Can't be more than thankful.
More adventure awaits
