London Life: Piccadilly Circus

It's been almost 2 weeks since I've touch down to Singapore. The first moment I had when I touched down was a streak of breathlessness caused by the humid air that I haven't been immersed for a long time, which subsequently led me to becoming sick for the first week. Haha but I'm feeling better already. Anyway back to this entry. I had taken quite a bit of pictures during my stay in the UK and this is sadly the last few series of images I have of Europe, for a while. Madeleine, Paige and I queued at 7.30am to purchase West End tickets for Phantom of the Opera held at Her Majesty's Theatre. The box office opened at 10am and we were fortunate enough be one of the few people who managed to pay 25 pounds for a ticket with extremely good seats, and the show was beyond what I had expected. Totally worth waking up early for the tickets. Alright it's time for dinner, can't wait to eat some more home cooked asian (chinese!) food. 

London Life: Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge, the London Bridge, Percy the Pig, London's city skyline and Red buses - the London things that were located within a 10 minute walk from Great Dover Street was totally worth the effort to get my butt off to see despite being absolutely exhausted from accumulated travels. It's the new year; there wasn't any fireworks viewing nor any celebration for me. I slept right through the night after having only 4 hours of slumber the previous night. My sleep was new year worthy so that makes up for missing the 00 00 count down hehe. Sitting at Starbucks with a hot black coffee and a blueberry muffin the next morning, wishing new year greeting and catching up with everyone via watsapp made me feel like I was back home for a while :) 

London Life: A day in London

Second day in London and I've forgotten what it's like to live in the hustle and bustle of a city. People everywhere from so many parts of the world were here and it seems as if there was a Singaporean at every corner of the street HEH. London living definitely costs a bomb with it's incredulous exchange rate. I'm still hoping to try to keep budget to minimal whilst enjoying every part of the movement and pother, but let's see how things go, yea? Thanks Madeleine for hosting us in her temporary apartment and Paige who recommended us things to do and food to eat here ^_^ Plus, I've finally have a companion who's patient enough to let me take photographs of her and me, Madeleine HEHE. LIFE.
